Welcome! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile emulator applications, including RPGEmu and RenPyEmu (collectively referred to as "the Applications" or "our Applications").
By downloading, installing, or using either Application, or by making any in-app purchases, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. License and Intended Use
The Applications are software emulation tools designed to provide cross-platform execution environments for compatibility and personal entertainment purposes. You acknowledge and agree that:
Neither RPGEmu nor RenPyEmu includes, bundles, or distributes any copyrighted game files, visual novel assets, ROMs, or third-party digital content. You are solely responsible for acquiring legitimate legal rights or licenses for any games, scripts, or assets you load and run inside the Applications.
2. Purchases, Billing, and Digital Goods
Depending on the store platform and distribution model, our Applications may be offered as paid downloads and/or may offer optional In-App Purchases (IAP) to unlock advanced emulation features, modules, or enhancements.
Billing and Processing: All transactions, including upfront app purchase fees and optional in-app purchases, are billed and processed exclusively through the respective platform store (Apple App Store for iOS / Google Play Store for Android).
Refund Policy: All purchases are final. Refund requests are subject entirely to the applicable platform's standard refund policies (Apple App Store / Google Play Store) or compulsory local consumer protection laws.
Pricing and Distribution: We reserve the right to modify pricing tiers, application availability, distribution models, or feature sets across platforms at our discretion.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree not to use the Applications for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to infringing on third-party intellectual property rights, bypassing digital rights management (DRM), or distributing unauthorized game copies.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
THE APPLICATIONS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APPLICATIONS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH ALL THIRD-PARTY GAME FILES, SCRIPT VERSIONS, OR SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATIONS.
5. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Any changes will be updated directly on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Applications constitutes acceptance of those changes.
